Staff Experience and Certifications
Braun Intertec provides qualified technicians who are trained and certified to ASNT-TC-1A requirements for level I and II technicians as well as API 510, 570 and 653 certified inspectors.
Braun Intertec also provides local staff including ASNT certified NDE level-III personnel. Our NDE level-III personnel provide guidance to technicians and provide customer support services where clarification or general consultation is needed.

Radiography (RT)
Radiographic technology, or x-ray, reliably detects volumetric welding and casting discontinuities, including slag, voids, thinning, fouling, and inclusions deep within a fabricated material. We provide radiography services for the oil, natural gas refining and other petrochemical industries. For our retail and commercial projects, we perform radiography on areas such as concrete floor slabs to locate post-tension cables, rebar and conduit to safely drill floor penetrations.
Computerized Radiography (CR)
Instead of relying on traditional film methods, computerized radiography gives you the convenience of combining digital photography with data management. Images are captured on a digital imaging plate and electronically processed with a state-of-the-art software package.
This technology results in higher resolution images, electronic measuring capabilities and the ability to store images on your computer/database. The digitally stored and non-proprietary images can easily be shared, communicated or even annotated with arrows, text and dimensional data, making this technology ideal for mechanical integrity programs.
Liquid Penetrant Inspection (PT)
Our certified technicians perform inspections in the field on welded components, machined, cast, stamped, welded, and forged parts to reveal surface breaking discontinuities that are not visually apparent.
Magnetic Particle Inspection (MT)
Our certified technicians use a magnetic particle inspection process to reveal flaws on and near the surface of raw materials, fabricated parts and weld joints in ferrous materials. We will perform magnetic particle inspections in the field with portable equipment or at your facility with portable equipment using the yoke technique.
