Indoor air quality (IAQ) is one of the most important occupational health and safety issues. Suboptimal IAQ results from poor ventilation systems that restrict the flow of fresh air indoors. As a result, contaminants build up indoors and can cause a range of health issues. The problem doesn’t necessarily have to be building-wide—there can also be areas of poor ventilation that lead to pockets contaminated air within a facility.

Braun Intertec confirms your workplace is set to achieve LEED IEQ 3.2 certification credit, the optimal standard for IAQ. Our specialists test for IAQ problems such as mold, chemical contaminants, carbon monoxide, carbon dioxide, allergens, asbestos, lead and building-related illness (BRI) or sick building syndrome (SBS). We will recommend corrective actions that can improve the indoor environment, reduce contaminants, and verifies there is sufficient outdoor air intake.
